Booking, cancellation and no-show policy
Short version: plans change, we get it. Tell us early and you're covered.
What the $20 covers
We contact every winery on your itinerary, book your times, confirm the details (including dog and kid rules) and ask each one for a guest perk. Tasting fees, food and wine are paid to the wineries directly unless a winery tells us otherwise.
If we can't book it
If a winery can't take you, we swap in the closest match and tell you before we confirm. If we can't book at least half of your stops, we refund the $20 in full.
Cancelling
Cancel more than 72 hours before your first tasting and we refund the $20 and cancel every booking for you. Inside 72 hours we still cancel everything for you, but the fee is not refunded. Some wineries charge their own late-cancellation fees for seated tastings; we tell you about those before you confirm.
Changing
One round of changes after booking is free. Just reply to your confirmation email.
No-shows
If you don't turn up and don't tell us, the winery may charge you its own no-show fee, and the $20 is not refunded. Running late? Text or email us and we'll call ahead.
Perks
Perks are offered by each winery at its discretion. We aim for 20% off tastings and 25% off bottles, but we can't promise a perk at every stop.
For wineries
Bookings come with names, party size and arrival time. If a guest cancels, we tell you the moment we know. We never charge wineries for bookings.
Drinking responsibly
Legal drinking age is 19 in British Columbia and 21 in California. Please don't drink and drive: every itinerary lists local shuttles and drivers you can book, and wineries may refuse service at their discretion.
